The mind and ink behind Ink & Omen
I'm an illustrator based in Germany, working mostly in black ink and linework. My art is often inspired by folklore, symbols, old paintings, and the stories we tell ourselves — or forget to.

Much of my creative process begins with a feeling or concept: a quiet archetype, a strange creature, a figure standing slightly out of place. I like to explore themes of transformation, solitude, and unseen magic, especially through the lens of dark fantasy.
When I’m not drawing, I spend a lot of time in museums. I find endless inspiration in the drama, detail, and allegory of classical European art — especially the kind made to teach, warn, or entertain. There’s something timeless about those images, and I’m interested in what happens when we reinterpret them through modern eyes.
I don’t work in a large studio or a collective. It’s mostly just me, a pen, and a lot of late-night ideas.
Ink & Omen is my way of collecting those ideas in one place — a space for quiet work, strange stories, and a little bit of wonder.
